Mirabel, July 17th, 2014 – Once again this year, the German Oldenburg Verband’s inspectors came to inspection Quebec-bred horses.
It was a very small inspection with only 5 foals being presented and 1 mare for studbook inspection. However, those foals made up in quality for the lack of quantity!
Stallions represented were Diamond Stud (2), Quaterback, Belissimo M and Sir Gregory.
All foals went premium. All. The Quaterback filly, also the youngest foal presented aged only 10 days old, bred and owned by Gilles Brouillette, also earned a Foal of Distinction award.
Foals were:
- Signature Manhattan (Sir Gregory x Dior v. Donates)
- Duetto E. M. (Diamond Stud x Barbarees Hill xx v. Matter Of Honor xx)
- Quincy (Quaterback x Donna Rose de Manhattan v. Don Schufro)
- Belgazou (Belissimo M x Apostrophe v. Any Tyme)
- Dambria (Diamond Stud x Viva Concorde xx v. Concorde’s Future xx)
The only mare presented for studbook inspection was :
- Walkyrie E. M. (Wolkentanz II x Barbarees Hill xx v. Matter Of Honor xx)
Walkyrie E. M. was also invited to the Mare Performance Test and highly praised on her type and beauty.
It was a lovely small event, the judges were Holly Simensen and Robert Conredel.
