Walkyrie E. M. went to her first show on Monday, a nice little schooling, and despite my very amateur riding and her being very green, we still managed a 61.7 % in our Walk/Trot class and to WIN ou Suitability class under judge John Kersley. Yay!
Mirabel, July 17th, 2014 – Once again this year, the German Oldenburg Verband’s inspectors came to inspection Quebec-bred horses. It was a very small inspection with only 5 foals being presented and 1 mare for studbook inspection. However, those foals made up in quality for the lack of quantity! Stallions represented were Diamond Stud (2), […]
As I realized that the comments from GOV judge Holly Simensen were not clear on the videos, I have added a transcription of her comments on Barbarees Hill and Bourgault E. M.‘s pages. I’ll get Walkyrie E. M.’s transcription done soon as well. Enjoy 🙂
New footage of Banderas, sire to Bourgault E. M. just released yesterday. Bourgault E. M. is a serious Derby prospect IMO, and seeing this footage of his sire just gives me further confidence in my impression.
Bourgault E. M. is now happily gelded and ready to move on to a career. We have many many projects and thus, we have significantly reduced his price from $9,500 to $6,500 CDN for a limited time. Bourgault’s page has been updated to reflect this change. Please contact Mathilde at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Payment […]
Well, it seems “being busy” is nothing new for me! As I was looking to update their ads, I stumbled upon some videos of Muscade E. M. and Bourgault E. M. I had never taken the time to post on YouTube! You can find them all on the Equus Magnificus channel on YouTube or on […]
I finally got around to updating Barbarees Hill‘s page. During the move from the WordPress.ORG platform to the WordPress.COM site, I completely lost the English version of her page. *Sigh* You can now read through her bio as well as through a very very interesting analysis of her damline. Enjoy! 🙂
Winter has been pretty busy around here. It has been extremely cold in the past few weeks. We’re used to a real winter, but still, -40+ (in oC or oF!) is a tough one to handle. Surprisingly, water froze a bit in the barn, only to thaw within hours with horses inside, but never froze […]
As the end of the year nears, I get superstitious. I have this funny idea that how we end a year and start another one is going to influence the next. I know, it’s ridiculous! 😉 But GREAT NEWS for you! That means that I also feel motivated to end the year on a successful […]
